Privacy statement
Reading The Union Question should not cost you any personal data. This statement explains, in plain terms, what is and is not collected when you visit.
What we do not collect
- No cookies. The site sets no cookies of any kind, so there is no cookie banner.
- No analytics or advertising. We run no audience-measurement tool, no advertising code and no tracking pixels.
- No accounts, comments or forms. There is nothing to sign up for, no member area, no comment section and no contact form, so we hold no names, email addresses or passwords.
- No third-party embeds. Fonts and images are served from the site itself; we do not embed videos, social-media posts or share buttons that would connect your browser to other companies.
What the host records
The site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information needed to deliver pages and protect the site against attacks, such as your IP address, the page requested, the time of the request and your browser's user agent. This information is held in server logs under Cloudflare's own privacy policy. We do not use these logs to identify or profile readers.
Links to other sites
Our articles link to official documents, court judgments, statistics and press reports on other websites. When you follow such a link, the site you visit applies its own privacy policy.
Changes
If the way the site handles data ever changes, this page will be updated before the change takes effect.
